What is the difference between 121°C and 135°C autoclave bags?

121°C bags are standard for basic steam sterilization. However, 135°C (and higher) bags are required for more intensive cycles or when handling specific bio-hazardous materials that demand higher thermal stability to prevent bag melting or failure.

How can I tell if the autoclave cycle was successful?

Our bags include a Sterilization Indicator Patch. Once exposed to the correct steam temperature and pressure, the patch will undergo a visible change (such as showing a hidden message), providing immediate confirmation for lab safety officers.

Do your biohazard bags meet ASTM impact standards?

Yes. Adsure autoclave bags are tested against ASTM D1709 (Dart Impact) to ensure they don't puncture during handling and ASTM D1922 to guarantee they won't tear easily under stress.
